Art, Stories, Smiles

Art has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Hawaii, I spent my childhood and youth immersed in drawing, painting, reading, playing piano, and enjoying the beautiful beaches of Oahu’s North Shore.
These days, I’m love to work in acrylics, watercolor and mixed media. I also enjoy art journaling and am in the process of I’m creating unique keepsake art journals for each my twelve grandchildren, blending journaling with inspirational art.
My passion for art extends beyond personal joy—I love to use it to help others, especially those facing loneliness, depression, or cognitive and physical challenges. I helped found the "Painting With Mom" program, in California, which offers special art sessions to seniors dealing with isolation and cognitive challenges.
Currently, I’m honored to collaborate with WHAM (What’s Happen’n Art Movement) in Surprise, Arizona, supporting their Mindful Art program which is focused on providing creative resources for Memory Care and Alzheimer’s groups and caregivers. I look forward to bringing comfort and creative expression to those navigating cognitive issues.
On a personal note, I’ve been happily married for 54 years to my best friend. We have four grown children, who are married to awesome spouses, and twelve wonderful grandchildren. I cherish my faith, family, and country. Besides painting and drawing, I enjoy complex cross-stitch projects, scenic drives, and cozy sleepovers with my grandkids.
Thank you for visiting. I’d love to connect—please feel free to leave your email or reach out via my Contact page.
It is my heartfelt hope that my art brings you joy and peace.

"For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor heavenly rulers, nor things that are present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."
